Pumpkin Pie Protein Yogurt

With this colder weather, it is much more difficult to be motivated to drink protein shakes after workouts, especially after working out in the evening.  Instead, I have been incorporating protein powder into oatmeal, waffles or pancakes, muffins, homemade bars, etc.  Here is an amazing recipe where I added some protein powder to yogurt!  If you like thick yogurt, the protein powder makes this super thick!

Pumpkin Pie Protein Yogurt

Ingredients:

  • 1 container coconut greek yogurt (I used So Delicious vanilla flavor)
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (I used PlantFusion)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and stir until smooth. (You may need to press any lumps of protein powder with the back of a spoon to separate.)

This protein yogurt can even be enjoyed for a light breakfast, a snack, or dessert!

This recipe yields approximately 245 calories and 11.5g protein.
